ABOUT US

HOW IT STARTED

CityGets started with walking.
Long walks without a plan, missing turns, sitting in random cafes, staying in neighborhoods that never make it into guidebooks.
We noticed something important.
One street can explain a city better than ten famous landmarks.
One local habit can tell you more than a museum wall of text.
So we decided to build guides around that idea. Not around checklists, but around feeling.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe cities are not products.
They dont exist to entertain you or fit into your schedule.
Every city has its own rhythm, pace, and logic. When you fight it, travel becomes tiring. When you follow it, even a short trip feels deep and personal.
We also believe its ok not to see everything.
Missing things is part of getting the city right.

CityGets guides are written by travelers, observers, and sometimes accidental locals.
People who stayed longer than planned. People who got lost and didnt panic. People who asked questions instead of just taking photos.
We value honesty over authority.
If something is overrated, we say it. If a place feels special for no clear reason, we say that too.

OUR GOAL

Our goal is simple.
To help you arrive in a city and feel less like a visitor and more like someone who belongs there, even just for a day.
If one article changes how you walk, where you stop, or how you look around, then CityGets worked.
